Mindshack was founded in May 2020 by students of the African Leadership University from Mauritius, South Africa and Kenya.

 

Over the past year, there has been 3 full seasons of each 10 diverse episodes completed with discussions of topics such as decolonization of feminism, cancel culture, generational wealth in Africa, and the realities of LGBTQ+ in Africa amongst many others.

 

Mindshack aims for listeners to develop a healthy relationship with difficult topics and to normalize changing perspectives by looking at subjects from a different/outside lens. We do not intend for listeners to only listen to the episodes and go on with their day, but we want them to think, feel, and do. 

 

Beyond a podcast, Mindshack connects young, like minded Africans and podcasts through collaboration. On that note, lookout for our season 4 starting soon!
